For this work,
I adapted two pieces from Javier Zamora’s poetry
book, Unaccompanied. The pieces
explore how objects inform memories as well as how they feed the concept of
home using Federico García Lorca’s framing
of dispossession in “ Romance Sonámbulo”: “Pero yo ya no soy
yo / ni mi casa es ya mi casa” (I
am no longer me, nor is my home mine now).
