This Is Not Me / This Is Me
Today,
you can be whatever you want to be. However, a public audience will still judge
and attempt to categorize you, ultimately affecting the way we view each other.
Currently, our traditional views of gender and sexuality have become
more fluid. Through this ongoing project, I explore and challenge these ideas. I
want to have a conversation about the body’s public image versus its private
image, and then deconstruct the body’s expected shape within a portrait.
